Yuuri isn't sure what he would have said if you'd ask him about soulmates before he found out about being king and demons and all that, but it would be different. Now he knows a bit more about souls and while he still isn't sure about what to say, it all seems kinda weird in a way.

Forever is weird too, and love- yeah. He thinks about that kinda stuff now and then, he doesn't really want to, he's a boy after all right and shouldn't he just be thinking with his hormones? But with Wolfram and everything he kinda has to, and he doesn't want to hurt anyone in the end but sometimes even with his optimism he isn't all that sure.

Adelbert is nice, like most you just need to give them time and they turn out to be great people but things are kinda... odd, and he's not sure they'll ever stop being odd. First there's the dreams, which are easy enough. Just simple dreams, that just happens to be based on memories of his past-only-not life but all they are is dreams. There's other stuff, like when he has to stop for a minute to figure out he's someone getting something from Julia's memory and not his own, even if you'd think it'd be obvious. And sometimes Adelbert will look at him like he's looking as deep as he can, only he really isn't looking at Yuuri at all.

But more then that, are the times Yuuri looks- or touches him, or gives him words of encouragement or any of the little things that speak of a closer relationship then they have and really Yuuri has to wonder. They don't talk about it, they kinda ignore it, but one of these days Yuuri knows in the back of his mind they will. Because even if he isn't really Julia, Julia is part of him just like his parents and his past and everything and it kinda scares him and makes him think.

He doesn't read girly romances like his mom, but he can tell from the dreams how much Julia and Adelbert loved each other. Then how much of his friendship right now is left over from Juila, or is it simpler than that and is just some kinda pull like he has with Conrad now and then, that part-of-him-but-not-really that tugs along with the rest of him that's so attached to the brown haired man?

Yuuri doesn't know, but for now he kinda feels it's too soon to talk about ghosts like that. So he'll just keep being Adelbert's friend and maybe now and then think about soulmates, and love, and what forever really means right along with baseballs, pillow fights, and all his friends. Because he's got other stuff to worry about, and for now it can wait.
